The SEO you write out goes hand in hand with the images you have to display on your website. We tend to put a lot of focus on content and copy in the blogging world, but you’re going to need to pay similar attention to the images you have strewn across your website as well. Pictures paint a thousand words after all, and if you don’t have something visually relevant to greet the user’s eyes, you’re not going to be very relevant in their mind!
So now’s your chance to be sure you’re pairing with style and design always in mind, and find the logos, vectors, and any other assorted images, that are going to have the most impact for your site.

In the same way you look to publish select keywords within your content to help rank your written piece, you’re going to want to have a similar consistency and theme with whatever images you choose to display. Search engines don’t tend to recognise the content within an image, after all, so you’re still going to need to use words here.
You’ve already got a blogging niche, and you’re happy to stick to it with whatever new posts you come up with, but are you happy about using the same kinds of images within each piece? Probably not, that gets boring! And it doesn’t help if the thumbnails for all your articles are the same too!
So be sure to have a theme amongst the images you use, and use the same kinds of words and phrases to caption them too. It’ll help Google to decide what it is you do, and how many images can be linked back to you when someone searches for them.

Images matter so much more when they’re original and personal compared to when they’re free stock you obtained elsewhere. And because of this, you’re going to need to come up with your own logo and use it liberally. If someone can’t remember your name, they’re definitely going to remember you by the symbol of your company!
You can take some Illustrator training courses to get yourself started here, as you probably don’t yet possess all the necessary skills to put this kind of software to use. But once you do, you’re going to be much better off in terms of aesthetics and search engine rankings – you’ve got a seal of approval on a corporate level, and you can caption a vector like this with your brand name, to be sure you’re always topping the searches.
The images on your website are always going to have a huge impact on how well your website does in terms of analytics, but they also matter on a personal level. Readers love to have visual aids on their side, so be sure to provide them.
