About Andy
The author of most of the articles on this site, Andy Kinsey, is a creative geek from Manchester. At the age of 21, Andy runs Andy Kinsey Designs, of which SEOAndy is a large part. AKD was founded in 2005.
Normally you will find Andy running around like a headless chicken, he does most of the work at AKD, though happily admits some projects he has help with.
When he’s not busy with client work Andy can be found lingering on Twitter (@andykinsey) and Facebook (click the link on the left). When he isn’t busy chatting and catching up, Andy writes articles for SEOAndy and several other websites (including the infamous Boagworld Podacast).
Writing articles about SEO, marketing & branding may upset some in the industry (i know this) but my vision is that the knowledge i have in this sector should be given for free to allow smaller businesses to do some of the work themselves. No body can ever start alone (you can’t stick up a new site with no experience and expect it to be found, you need the marketing) which means you need to have somewhere to learn about this, and SEOAndy I hope is this place … Oh and my vision doesn’t include jargon. – Andy Kinsey 2010
